Photos and PDFs
When you select a photo, lefsihePDF reads and processes it locally in your browser. Orientation correction, resizing, cropping, filters, compression, and PDF creation happen on your device. The app does not upload your selected images or generated PDFs to an application server.
When you choose Share or Download, your browser handles that action. You decide where a shared file goes.
What stays in this browser
Preferences such as theme and export defaults are stored in local browser storage. A finished PDF and its thumbnail are written to IndexedDB only when you choose Save to History.
You can optionally protect saved history with the passphrase vault in Settings. When enabled, PDF bytes, thumbnails, filenames, and document details are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your passphrase. The passphrase and decryption key are not stored. Without the vault, browser history is local but does not have this app-level encryption.
Saved history is not synced to an account or another device. Clear history in Settings, or clear this site's storage in your browser, to remove it. If you forget the vault passphrase, encrypted history cannot be recovered.
Preferences are stored locally to remember your choices and are not encrypted.
Network requests and offline use
lefsihePDF does not send document contents to analytics or advertising services. The installable app caches its app shell and static assets for offline use. As with any website, the hosting provider may process basic connection data such as an IP address in standard server logs; consult the host's privacy terms for its retention practices.
The browser may need an internet connection to load lefsihePDF for the first time and to receive app updates.
Cookies and advertising
This deployment currently displays no ads and uses no advertising cookies or analytics. If an operator enables Google AdSense or another ad service, this policy must be updated to describe the actual cookies, identifiers, partners, and data uses before ads are served. Any legally required consent choices must also be provided.

Your choices
- Save a PDF to local history only when you choose to.
- Delete saved PDFs in Settings, or clear site storage in your browser.
- Use your browser's private mode if you do not want preferences or saved history retained after the session.
- Review a PDF before sharing it with another app or person.
Sensitive documents
lefsihePDF is a general-purpose document utility, not an identity-verification service or long-term archive. IDs, receipts, and forms can contain sensitive information. Keep your device secure and check the recipient before sharing a PDF.
Contact and policy changes
For privacy questions, contact the operator using the address published on the website where lefsihePDF is hosted. The site owner should publish a direct contact address before public launch. This page will be updated if the app's data practices change.
